International Behavior Therapist® Training & Supervision

Become an International Behavior Therapist® (IBT®)

An International Behavior Therapist® is a person who is trained in providing effective, ethical and high quality behavior analytic services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental or other disabilities, and those who require additional support. It is the international equivalent of what is know in the US as a Behavior Technician.
The IBT® certification is obtained through the International Behavior Analysis Organization (The IBAO®). The IBAO® requires a candidate to complete a 40-hour training and 300 hours of supervised practice. We are proud to provide both of these requirements in English, Spanish, Dutch and/or Papiamento. IBT® Training

Find Your Balance LLC is an IBAO Approved Content Provider for the required IBT® 40-hour Training. Our training is a combination of video and live sessions. Our goal is to provide the training in an individualized way to you or your team. While our videos are all in English, the live sessions can be held in English, Spanish, Dutch or Papiamento. We are also willing to work with you to identify a translator and/or co-instructor who can facilitate in another language.

IBT® Supervision

The IBAO® requires that each IBT® candidate obtain 300 hours of supervised practice. During this time you will work under the supervision of an IBA® to practice the behavior analytic skills you need to become a competent IBT®. Our supervisors will provide direct supervision at a rate of at least one hour for every 30 hours of practice. When combined with our IBT® Training Course, you receive a comprehensive experience that prepares you to become certified as an IBT® and provide quality services to clients.

International Behavior Analyst® Training & Supervision

Become an International Behavior Analyst® (IBA®)

An International Behavior Analyst® is a person who is trained in overseeing and providing effective, ethical and high quality behavior analytic services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental or other disabilities, and those who require additional support. It is the international equivalent of what is know in the US as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
The IBA® certification is obtained through the International Behavior Analysis Organization (The IBAO®). The IBAO® requires a candidate to complete a master's degree or 270-hour professional training course and 1000 hours of supervised practice. IBA® Training

Find Your Balance LLC is an IBAO Approved Content Provider for the required IBA® 270-hour Training Course. Our training is a combination of video, live sessions, activities and assignments. Our goal is to provide the training in an individualized way to you or your team. While our videos are all in English (more languages coming soon), the live sessions can be held in English, Spanish, Dutch or Papiamento and assignments can be completed in any of those languages as well. We are also willing to work with you to identify a translator and/or co-instructor who can facilitate in another language.

IBA® Supervision

The IBAO® requires that each IBA® candidate obtain 1000 hours of supervised practice. During this time you will work under the supervision of an IBA® to practice the behavior analytic skills you need to become a competent IBA®. Our supervisors will provide direct supervision at a rate of at least one hour for every 20 hours of implementation or programming practice.  When combined with our IBA® Training Course, you receive a comprehensive experience that prepares you to 1) become certified as an IBA®, 2) supervise and manage a team of IBTs and 3) provide high quality services to clients their families.
