A mentor is a trusted person who supports you and serves as a positive influence, but is not responsible for your work direction. Mentorship is a process in which a behavior analyst “seeks advice and suggestions on clinical issues, professional practice, organizational operations, ethics, and additional areas of service provision. The mentor is not responsible for the decisions or actions of the IBA. The main goals of mentorship are professional collaboration, networking, guidance, and advice on issues encountered” (IBAO, 2021, p.22).
Group will run on 1st Wednesdays from 1-2pm US Eastern Time (find your matching time zone at worldtimebuddy.com):
- October 2, 2024

This mentorship group can be used to meet the IBAO’s mentorship requirement. If using for this purpose, please make sure to add Gabrielle Torres as one of your mentors in your IBAO account.
Note that since this is mentorship, attendance at each meeting requires 1) cameras on, and 2) active participation.
